I represent prose and graphic genre fiction for Adult, Young Adult, and crossover readers.
Across the board, I am looking for diverse casts and OwnVoices narratives. Send me MG/YA books with the representation you wished you had as a kid! I am looking for novels with high concepts, new twists on old tropes, clever voicey protagonists, and lush worlds I can escape into. I am also always on the lookout for adaptations and retellings with fresh POVs.

I am currently seeking commercial and upmarket genre fiction for Adult and YA audiences, in either prose or graphic formats. Send me diverse, action-packed, fast-paced books with witty protagonists and grounded secondary worlds that feel real. I love high-concept, fast-paced stories with immersive worlds, high stakes, and strong emotional cores, as well as genre-blending, diverse casts, and morally grey or snarky protagonists.
Horror: I'm looking for psychological thrills with current relevance. Think Black Mirror, Get Out, and Parasite. I'd also love queer horror-romance in the vein of Someone You Can Build a Nest In or Saltburn. I'm looking for unreliable narrators, villain or monster protagonists, and diverse subversions of classic tropes. I love dark humor as well! Stories that feel like Carrie, Stranger Things, Hell Followed With Us, Yellowjackets, and The Shape of Water. I am not seeking literary fiction, but I enjoy gothic vibes. I am not currently seeking books featuring haunted houses or hauntings.
Fantasy: I'm seeking bingeable reads under 100k words. Underrepresented protagonists, non-Western settings or myths, and dark academia are of particular interest. I'd also love genre blends with sci-fi or horror! Lush world building, rule-based "grounded" magic, STEM inspired fantasy, academic settings, witches, and fantasy romance with feminist or queer themes. I am not the right fit for dragons, talking animals, orcs/elves, or werewolves. I enjoy most subgenres, so everything from Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries to Arcane could be a fit!
Sci-Fi: I'm looking for historical or near future settings with science that feels real. I'd love a sci-fi story exploring climate change, medical advancements, AI/robot ethics, realistic first contact, consciousness or many worlds theory, black holes, and other popular science topics. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi protagonists who are extremely competent and funny. I am not the right fit for space operas or military sci-fi. Settings should be near-future enough that humanity has not left the solar system, and books set primarily on a ship/in space may not be a good fit for me. I'm looking for sci-fi in the style of Andy Weir's books, the Murderbot Diares, Children of Time, Blindsight, The Expanse or Bobiverse series. I am also open to sci-fi romance. Mind-bending and highly commercial sci-fi like Primer, Inception, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Severance, or Your Name are also of interest.
Graphic Novels: I am open to graphic novel pitches from author-illustrators. I'm looking for fresh perspectives, dynamic art styles, and stories which fit my genre MSWL, as well as select graphic memoirs and webcomics. I am particularly interested in "slice of life", queer romance, and standalone fantasy, sci-fi, and horror stories. Some of my favorite creators and GNs include ND Stevenson (Nimona, Lumberjanes), Ariel Slamet Ries (Witchy), Yuko Ota & Ananth Hirsh (Johnny Wander, Barbarous), Kate Beaton (Hark! A Vagrant), Alison Bechdel (Fun Home), Bryan Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim, Seconds), Takeshi Obata & Tsugumi Ohba (Death Note, Bakuman), and Inio Asano (Oyasumi PunPun).
Romance: I am seeking romance primarily as a subplot. LGBTQ+ couples, genre blends, and trope-heavy stories. I love enemies or rivals to lovers, slow burn, love triangles, and villain/hero or monster romance.
I am open to contemporary sports romance, particularly cowboys/rodeos, roller derby, street racing, and lacrosse, as well as YA contemporary romance with clubs like debate, robotics, or chess.

Mystery/Thriller: I am not open to mysteries or thrillers on their own, but am interested in mystery/thriller subplots within other genres. Send me intricately plotted mysteries like Knives Out and Gone Girl set in a fantasy world, court procedurals like Phoenix Wright but featuring vampires, SFF-mysteries like Gideon the Ninth, or horror-mystery blends like Bodies Bodies Bodies. I'd also love a heist novel in the vein of Ocean's Eleven or featuring a phantom/gentleman thief like Lupin the Third, Pink Panther, or Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Middle Grade: (2026 Update) I am only seeking MG graphic novels at this time. I am open very selectively to upper middle grade stories featuring coming of age themes, diverse casts, and action-packed plots. Contemporary or genre fiction, and select memoir. Send me books with the representation you wish you had as a kid!
Anti-MSWL: I am not the best fit for contemporary fiction without speculative elements. I do not represent picture books, chapter books, short story collections, anthologies, non-fiction, or poetry. I am not currently open to middle grade outside of graphic novels, and I am only seeking YA with 17+ year old protagonists or Adult crossover potential. Do not send me books featuring violence against minorities, World Wars, military/police POVs, sexual violence, child abuse, or talking animals.
Extra: Non-Western, Appalachian, or American Southwest settings are of interest!
